Bridge Rectifiers

Bridge rectifier renders rectification of full wave through an AC input of two-wire which results reduction of weight and cost. This is almost double the output which is provided by other rectifiers. The most important feature of this is that whatever be the input polarity, output polarity will always be same. Simple filtering is needed in this case because of higher level of frequency and lower ripple voltage. A transformer of small size can be used or the utilization of transformer can be avoided.
